Introduction to SuiDEPin and Its IDO

The Sui ecosystem is growing so fast it’s almost impossible to keep track. They are active in gaming, DeFi, and even memecoins. And now those who want to use Sui’s unique advantages for DePIN will be able to do so more easily with SuiDEPiN.

Let’s take a look at what SuiDEPiN is and why its IDO and Token Generation Event are so popular.

Intro to SuiDePIN

SuiDEPiN calls itself the AI layer of the Internet. The idea is to provide infrastructure for DePIN projects that want to use Sui as well as users who want to earn Sui by sharing some of their disk space.

And by now, most of you know what DePIN is how these decentralized networks present themselves to the market. However, one of the big differences here is the use of AI. First of all, one of SuiDEPiN’s main products is an AI Agent Marketplace. Since AI Agents need a lot of memory to run and do their thing, this is a natural direction for some DePIN projects to go. That said, we have not seen much of this yet. We expect to see more of this in the future since LLM models like ChatGPT or Claude need lots of memory. In fact, OpenAI is one of SuiDEPin’s partners. And agents need even more memory so they can be autonomous and do the things we ask of them.

The intersection of 2 of the industry’s hottest trends, AI Agents and all things Sui, means there is A LOT of attention on this project. The other 2 main products are a node marketplace that projects can access for decentralized data and its own modular data network. SuiDEPiN has its own DePIN plus it is providing infrastructure for other projects wanting to decentralize their infrastructure to be more DePIN-like.

Early Signs of Success

With more than 1.5 million active nodes and grants from GPU marketplace Aethir and Amazon Web Services, they are hitting the ground running. The AI agent marketplace will get the most attention, but the modular data network is vital to the project’s success. With it, users can share storage space and also bandwidth to earn tokens. Payments and transactions on the network will be in the new native $SUIDEPIN token. It’s easy to share and monetize your data here in a couple of different ways.

Partners include Sui (naturally), Solana, io.net, and OpenAI among others. The app is currently available on Google Play for Android and Chrome, the Apple store, and on Telegram as a mini-app.

SuiDePIN IDO and TGE

The IDO took place on January 1-3. It was on Paid Network, Turbos, Fjord, Ape Terminal, and SuiPad, the native Sui launchpad. The IDOs on all the launchpads sold out in under 3 minutes and were varying from 5x to 10x oversubscribed. That means more buyers wanted to buy than the tokens available. The $SUIDEPIN token will have a total supply of 1 billion tokens. One of the token’s best features is its burn program. They will take 33% of all platform revenue to use for token buybacks and burn. We love seeing this feature since it can lead to deflation and make existing tokens more valuable.

Starting Monday, January 6, you can find $SUIDEPIN on MEXC for those of you looking for centralized exchange access.  Turbos is the first DEX to list $SUIDEPIN along with Raydium for Solana users. So check out SuiDEPin and to learn more about the project and the token launch you can follow them on X.
